I'm not even sure why I decided to lock my journal, however I was always taught to be safe than sorry. Valid that is, ahn? Thus, this journal may be privately viewed only. I do acknowledge that there are many, many admirers who wish to check up on me from time to time--however this is the case.

Again, I apologise.

1.) Kei has abandonment issues. Growing up, Kei was much more emotionally dependent on both his parents. He’d cry over small, silly things and never allow them to leave him in a room by himself.

2.) Kei lives to torment Oshitari Yuushi. Not intentionally of course. He likes to dive on him, and this will usually mean a sore back for poor Yuushi. Kei is very close to him over all, and refers to him as an 'uncle.'

3.) He is holding a bitter grudge against his father, Atobe Keigo. Due to Atobe's CEO status, this keeps him away from home and out of the country for extended periods of time. Again going back to the abandonment issues, this really bothers Kei. Therefore, thinking he's chosen his career over family--Kei experiences resentment towards him.

4.) He is secretly attempting to master the violin due to the fact that despite his resentment towards Atobe, he wants to impress him.

5.) His strongest subject is language, he lives for cultures and the different ways of speech they communicate in. Kei can speak (and swear) in fluent German. He is working on Greek, and hopes to learn Latin, Spanish and Italian in the near future.

6.) Kei doesn't usually like eating Japanese food. His taste in what he eats is extremely precise and he enjoys roast beef and swiss cheese sandwiches a majourity of the time. He hates wheat bread and loves white bread. He perfers drinking milk or tea to soda or shakes. Kei also eats a lot of German foods.

7.) Big, big animal lover! Cats, dogs, horses, birds. Kei loves them all, especially dogs. He has a young puppy who he's named: "Forte." He takes on all the responsibility of caring for his puppy, and including his horse: "Alexandra."

8.) Kei is also a big manga reader. Especially comedy manga. He does not have a favourite, since he tends to try and read as much as he can. Usually reading manga at lunchtime or alone. Whichever permits.

9.) He absolutely hates cell phones! He hates his most of all. Since it rings none-stop half of the time. Most times Kei usually doesn't pick up. Instead he silences the ringer or puts it on vibrate and goes on his merry way. This is one of Kei's most annoying traits in the eyes of his friends--who complain that it's difficult to reach him when he doesn't pick up his cell phone.

10.) Despite how outgoing he can be, Kei can be very shy. Especially around girls, or people he is trying to make a good impression on.

11.) Kei has very powerful insight. Both in tennis, and in every day life. It's not a wise thing to try and lie in front of him--since he's able to usually see right through one. Kei can also target opponent's weak spots through body movement, and patterns they take when moving around the court.

12.) A lover of music and dance as well, Kei listens to just about anything and everything (he really loves violin music). Ballroom dancing is his favourite, especially tango and swing dancing. He loves tango so much that he based his entire tennis style OFF of it.

13.) Kei was beaten up pretty badly when still in middle school. That day still haunts him a lot. Usually he will have nightmares about it.

14.) Kei has no connection with his past, his real parents, and hasn't the slightest idea he is half Korean. His parents tried to raise him sheltered against a dangerous past that is only beginning to haunt him. He often times will sit down and wonder who the rest of his family is, and why he was adopted in the first place. Not that he would trade his ‘parents’ for any one in the world.

15.) His name is 'Atobe Keigo Jr.' because Ryou felt he needed a good, strong name and Atobe in his eyes was and is one of the strongest people he knows. "He needs a good, strong name to hang onto to."

16.) Kei broods. A lot. He'll dwell on the smallest things a person does.

17.) Kei is seen as the 'fearless' leader of Meisei's Saisho Tennis Team. He spends extensive time mapping out a plan of attack for his team so that they can enter a tournament with less anxiety.

18.) Kei is especially close to Mukahi Naoko.

19.) Despite Atobe's numerous tries at it, Kei absolutely hates fishing.

20.) Kei is dreaming of studying abroad sometime soon. Whether it be in Italy or in Germany, he's determined to go overseas.
